Federica Rigoldi was born in 1988. She received her Bachelor's degree from the Politecnico di Milano (September 2010) with a thesis about electrospun biological scaffold for nerve regeneration. She obtained her Master Degree in Biomedical Engineering in April 2013 at Politecnico di Milano. Her master’s thesis, performed in collaboration with Yokohama National University (Fukuda Laboratories) focused on the computational study of peptide self-assembled monolayers for vessel regeneration using molecular dynamics simulation approach. She is currently a PhD student in Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano and her current research activity concerns bio-molecular modelling and enzyme engineering.
